Ginger shot recipe – RAW FOOD

  •  14 ounces (oz) of fresh ginger
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 liquid quart/4 cups of water
  • Honey after taste, about 3 tablespoons

Instructions:

Wash and clean the ginger carefully, you don´t have to peel it but cut of ”the tops”. Cut the ginger into smaller pieces and put the pieces in your mixer/blender. Add half of the water, 2 cups, and blend it. Add the rest of the water and blend again. Leave the mixture in the blender for an hour. Give it a short blend 2-3 times to make sure you bring out all the good stuff in the ginger. End with a short blend and pour the mixture into a fine mesh strainer and let it drain into a bowl. Press out the last liquid with a spoon. Add the juice from two lemons and some honey. Mix it and pour it into nice bottles.
